A Sweet Adventure: Hannah + Zach's Door County Engagement Session
Adventure was the theme for Hannah + Zach’s Door County engagement session, and their session didn’t disappoint.
I had the pleasure of meeting Hannah and Zach in person for the first time at Cave Point in Door County for their engagement session. The day was filled with the simple and sweet kind of love that they share. Having met on Hinge last year, they quickly realized their deep connection and got engaged. Currently planning their late fall wedding at Heritage Hill, the couple radiated happiness.
Despite the scorching heat in Green Bay that day, Door County offered a refreshing escape, and we started our adventure at Cave Point. The couple enjoyed being playful, teasing each other, and sharing tender moments. Hannah loves and embraces all of Zach's forehead kisses, and their willingness to snuggle and just be together made for beautiful photos against the scenic backdrop.
As we explored Door County, we chatted about their favorite spots in the area. Both their families have connections to Door County, with cabins in Sturgeon Bay and on Washington Island. After Cave Point, we headed to George Pinney Park, where they engaged in geocaching. It was my first time experiencing this treasure hunt, and I was fascinated by the concept of hidden containers and tokens.
Moving to the pier for more photos by the water, Hannah and Zach took a moment to reflect on their journey from online acquaintances to a newly engaged couple. The session concluded at Hannah's family cabin on the Bay of Green Bay near Sturgeon Bay. Dancing in the sunset and listening to the waves, they practiced their first dance, expressing pride in each other.
Hannah's hair and makeup looked impeccable, complementing the beautiful dresses she wore throughout the session. While it wasn't an eventful day, their genuine happiness and sweet connection left a lasting impression. I'm excited and looking forward to capturing the magic of their fall wedding here in Green Bay.
