What is KLEM Studios at its core?

About Kate, Founder and CEO of KLEM Studios
We are also lucky to have an incredible team of lead photographers and second shooters who support KLEM Studios’ couples throughout the year. These are people we would trust to photograph our own wedding days – in fact, the KLEM Team has photographed the weddings of two KLEM team members, including Kate’s wedding! Her wedding story: We eloped in the mountains of Grand Teton National Park in the middle of COVID with seven other guests. I wore my dream wedding dress with gold cowboy boots. Our dogs were our Flower Girls, my dad was my Man of Honor, my mom married us, and my dad cooked our entire wedding dinner and provided French champagne for our toasts. It was epic beyond my wildest dreams!
I’m Kate, an adventurous luxury wedding and portrait photographer based in Wisconsin, serving couples around the world. Photography is my favorite form of time travel—capturing raw emotion, real connection, and honest beauty in a way that helps you relive it all for years to come.
Telling your story is an honor I don’t take lightly. I believe your love deserves to be documented in a way that feels true to who you are, so you can look back and still see yourselves—joyful, present, and deeply in love.
On a personal note, I’m married to the love of my life and my best friend, Andy, and together we’re raising our incredible daughter, Avery. I’m a foodie, a craft beer enthusiast, and a big believer in collecting experiences over things. Our home is shared with two sweet cats, two energetic pups, and a whole lot of laughter. I’m always chasing the next adventure, whether it’s across the globe or in our own backyard. My travels, education, and passion for nature have shaped how I see the world—and how I document yours.
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me working in my gardens, working out (I pick things up and put them down), or devouring books whole – preferably romantasy novels.
