Kadyn + Matt's Fall Wedding Day at Round Lake Farms
There’s something undeniably special about a wedding that feels like home—where laughter flows easily, the energy is relaxed, and every detail is full of heart. Kadyn and Matt’s celebration at Round Lake Farms was just that. Set against the peaceful backdrop of a newer venue that’s quickly becoming a favorite, their day was filled with love, meaning, and a few delightful surprises (including their sweet pup, Moxie!).
A Slow Morning Full of Anticipation
From the very start of the day, Kadyn had a calm, grounded energy—equal parts excited and at ease. Her getting-ready space was buzzing with joy as she and her bridesmaids prepped for the day ahead. When Kadyn stepped into her stunning Martina Liana gown, complete with intricate lace, a glittering veil, and a sleek ponytail, the reactions from her crew said it all: gasps, happy tears, and hugs all around. It was a moment.
On the other side of the venue, Matt and his groomsmen kicked back in a cozy cigar lounge-style room, half-watching college football and fully soaking up the vibe. Eventually, they suited up in classic gray tuxes and joined the day looking sharp and celebratory.
A First Look by the Lake
As fellow Bay Port grads (like me, Kate!), it was extra special to witness Kadyn and Matt’s first look—just the two of them on a deck overlooking Round Lake, with their families and wedding party watching from above. The emotion in that moment was palpable. Kadyn also shared a sweet first look with her mom, who was visibly moved at the sight of her daughter all dressed up and glowing.
Photos, Then Fully Present for the Party
Kadyn and Matt wanted to be truly present with their guests, so we knocked out all their wedding party and couple portraits before the ceremony. Their crew brought such a fun, laid-back energy, and the photos flowed effortlessly. With everything captured ahead of time, they were able to soak in every second of the celebration later on—and you could tell how much that meant to them.
An Intentionally Crafted Ceremony
Held on the lakeside lawn, the ceremony was deeply personal. Kadyn’s friend’s father officiated, and the love and care that went into every word was so evident. One of our favorite surprises? Matt walking Kadyn’s mom down the aisle, disappearing for a moment, and then reappearing to walk with Kadyn herself. It was such a beautiful way to step into their future—together.
Their unity ceremony featured a sand blending in an hourglass (how cool is that?!), and their handwritten vows brought tears and laughter. They sealed it all with a kiss that felt like the culmination of a hundred tiny love stories leading to that one moment.
Cocktail Hour + A Pup Named Moxie
During cocktail hour, guests mingled lakeside and enjoyed an incredible spread of appetizers. The vibe was light and happy. And then—Moxie arrived. Kadyn and Matt’s dog made a joyful cameo, tail wagging and thrilled to see her people. Whether it’s a dog-inspired signature cocktail, signage, or an in-person pup appearance, we’re always here for including furry family on your wedding day. Moxie definitely stole a few hearts.
Golden Hour Magic
Just before dinner, the sky lit up in hues of red and orange. Kadyn knew in her heart that this golden moment was a sign from her loved ones who couldn’t be there physically—but were absolutely there in spirit. We snuck away for a few quick sunset photos, and I’m so glad we did. That light, that emotion—it was all magic.
Dancing, Speeches, and A Packed Dance Floor
After heartfelt speeches and the sweetest cake cutting, Kadyn and Matt shared their first dance as husband and wife. And then the party truly began. The dance floor was full, the energy was high, and the joy was contagious. It was the kind of night you never want to end.
A Day Full of Heart
Kadyn and Matt’s wedding was a true reflection of who they are—warm, thoughtful, and full of love. From meaningful moments with family to the joy of including their dog to dancing the night away, every part of the day felt intentionally crafted and full of heart.
We’re so grateful to have been part of it all, and even more excited to continue cheering on their story.
